Laminating the film or lamination of a printed material, called a coating process (overlay) special transparent film, embossed for any plane carrier, which include paper, plain paper, cardboard.

Today there are different types of films for lamination with a different density and thickness, that can give the effect of the photographic paper gloss, stiffness and flexibility, giving the necessary protection of the image from the various external factors, such as friction and UV rays of light. Laminating film is considered a convenient and easy way to protect printed materials against damage.
