Which ink to print photos, paintings and posters

Obviously, in order to obtain images with high quality printing, you must use only high-quality consumables. Regardless of whether you use branded ink from the manufacturer or analog, the result will depend on the configuration of the recording apparatus, and ink from the company's products and photographic paper.

For example, photo paper of different density can also vary the color from white to cool white hues - it all depends on UV protective layer, which is covered with such a layer not only reflects the UV rays, but also protects the photo paper from fading. Therefore, ink and photo paper producers from analogue, as a rule, are not inferior in quality to the brand.

Ink composition made of water-based is rather simple, it includes:

  • deionized water (60-90% of the carrier);
  • coloring agent or pigment providing color ink liquid (1-10%);
  • solvent, wetting ink, which depends on the viscosity of (5-30%);
  • surfactants as additives, which are dependent on the penetrating properties of the ink (0.1-10%);
  • biocide, whose function is to prevent the growth of bacteria (0.05-1%);
  • buffering agents for adjusting the pH of the liquid ink (0.01-0.5%);
  • other auxiliary substances: solubilizers, defoamers, chelating agent (> 1%).

Recently, an increasing number of manufacturers of ink, which, in turn, opens up new possibilities for the use of inkjet printers and plotters.

Excellent technical characteristics of the jet mechanisms combined with a completely democratic value of supplies in the domestic market gave an excellent outcome. Anyone can do high-quality digital photos and documents, much cheaper than similar services are special mini-lab or using a laser printer.

Long gone are gone mistrust and prejudice associated with poor quality ink, paper and ink cartridges from analog manufacturers. Their plants are now no less than technological, equipped with its own laboratories with special facilities where qualified staff is constantly improving the basic recipe. As a result, a regular user of an inkjet printer, absolutely does not lose in quality, performing printing at a reasonable price (in 15-25 times cheaper).
